Bosch claassix diswasher mystery part.

I took the left side panel off the machine to find a leak, and a plastic part fell out. I can't see where this piece fits. I have looked at the Bosch exploded diagram and the part appears to be part number 165292, but I can't make out how it fits.
The machine type number is SG55C02GB/01.
Any ideas please? The machine (apart from the leak) seems to work OK.

According to numerous parts stores, bosch dishwasher part no 165292 is a left hinge plastic cover.

Its an internal part which appears to press fit onto the hinge to cover it. If you cant see it from the outside of the machine, i wouldnt worry too much about it - its only a cover.
