Bosch exxcel frost free fridge freezer problem

Hi, the tube that leads out of the water drip tray/ v shape groove is missing on my newly acquired second hand unit. I can see day light through the 1cm hole that takes water out of the back of the freezer.... This can't be right can it?

Please advise if this is right as it seems I am cooling the house as well as the fridge, and where I can get a replacement tube?

As no expert has replied yet I think the lack of tube is correct, it drips onto the top of the motor & evaporates.
