Hello all,

I have a Bosch PCH615CGB gas hob - looks a bit like this:

The large burner

does light but gives a pathetically small flame. The other 3 rings are fine.

I have unscrewed and swapped burners from one of the OK ones to the large one, but the problem stays with the ring, and the other one is OK still. I have also washed the ring and caps in some strong oven cleaner and made sure all the holes aren't blocked.

I just don't know if the ring isn't getting enough gas, or if somehow the gas isn't getting through the crown. More often than not, half the inside ring doesn't ignite.

Any idea how I can troubleshoot this further - the price of spares means it's not worth buying unless I am 100% sure it would fix this.

Many thanks....

Probably simply a blocked injector get a gas safe cooker chap out.

Hi thanks
Is the injector simply the screw with the thin hole which comes out with a small socket wrench?
If so then it's clear, and I have swapped it with another one and the problem remains.
