hi folks, my dishwasher is having a bit of a strop! It starts its cycle, counts down, and then stops halfway through a cycle. the display turns off and wont turn back on.

I leave it for about half an hour then switch it on and its fine. it always has water inside when it stops, (usually about 2 inches) in the bottom.

its almost like its cutting out because too much water is in there (flood protection????)

any ideas? would appreciate your answers.

Hi Jon.
Flood protection on a Bosch would result in the drain pump running .On some models it still runs even when the door is opened. Sounds more like a pcb fault or power loss to the machine. The plug in the wall socket is ok isn't it?
Cheers Eric.

the plug socket seems to be fine. it is quite intermittent. it usually happens as the water starts to get hot. are there any other safety features which could cause the machine to shut down??
