Hello
I just re-attached the drive belt of our old washing machine. When I tried to turn the drum by hand to check if the belt was properly in place I noticed that the drum also swung backwards and forwards quite loosely. Do you think this is normal? Or could the shock absorbers (?) attached to the bottom of the drum installation be broken?
Also, I noticed that there was some sort of stains near those shock absorbers. Could those be oil-filled, and if so, could the oil contain PCBs or other dangerous stuff?
