Bosch washing machine Grease

Just had delivered a Bosch machine and found what looks like transparent grease on the outer sides of the detergent tray. Just wondering what this stuff is and why it's on the side of the detergent tray?
Also when I removed the bolts. I heard a clank that seems like something has dropped inside the machine? Any thoughts on this please?

just sounds like a washer has fell off the transit bolts,
have a look under and you'll see
don't worry about the grease, just wipes off

grease is to stop the tray from sticking.. probably silicone based..
the clunk was the transit spacers dropping from between the drum and the body.. shouldn't be a problem..
