My relative has bottle-traps in her kitchen sink, which seem to get smelly and sometimes clog.
It seems to me that the "bend" traps are less prone to clogging.
Will a bend-trap fit straight in? i.e. are kitchen sink traps of standard sizes? Or can I expect to be crawling about with a junior hacksaw and some connectors?
What about basin traps with the same problem?
The wastes are all in fairly modern plastic.
