Having just fitted a new bath in the bathroom, the next job on the list is to box in the gas boiler. I was wondering if someone could give some advice on materials and method?

The top of the boiler is at head height, I was going to box in from the floor and fit a seperate ready-made panel door from eg. B&Q. The walls are tiled, so would need to fix the frame to the tiled wall.#

Any help would be appreciated !

should be ok to box it in, just make sure you have enough room around the boiler, and check the ventillation requirements (if any) with the manufacturer

Check the mfrs instructions not only for ventilation requirements but also the electrical rating. The electrical forum has a lot of stuff about boilers in cupboards in bathrooms. Check the Zones, and whether your boiler has a clock on it, etc
You will probably be grateful later for any efforts you make now to make the enclosure easy to remove. They can be a real pain meaning damage has to be done, to repair the boiler.
