Hi there.

I am planning to box in a run of plastic 40mm waste pipes that run vertical up the gable end of the house into the loft cavity. The pipe runs from a toilet saniflow system.

I the battens will have to be in excess of the 40mm pipe diameter. I have looked at wickes and not sure which timber to use. I am not planning to paint it just to leave it to weather naturally but want it to last quite some time so i don't have to get up on a ladder again!

Regards

fix a tanalised 2"x1" either side of the pipe make up three sided pipe boxing solid timber stagger jopints if needed ,fix through boxing into 2"x1"stay out of the shed's their timber will be too short.go to proper timber yards.
