Boxing in pipes. Potterton Profile 50e. Advice appreciated

Hi,
I've boxed in some ugly pipes which extend down beneath my central heating boiler. The boxed section is fixed to the wall and is 2 inches in depth. It falls short of the underside of the boiler by about 1.5 inches. I just wanted to make sure that this would not be a problem to the boilers ventilation.
I can post a pic if this would help.
Thank you to anyone who can advise.

No its fine but does it come off so you can get the screw out of the bottom to remove the screw to get the grey plastic cover off?

Hi Ollski,
Thank you very much for your help. The plastic cover / draw seems to slide out regardless of any fixing screw. (maybe lost). Would like to post a pic for you to see my work. Not sure how to as I'm new to this but will try in the morning.
Thanks again,
Julia

Yes there is no problem but it will need to come off for servicing as the grey cover has to pull forward and down for access.

Hi Ollski,
Thank you very much for your great advice. It's put my mind at rest.
Much appreciated.
You're a star!
