BPT Targha intercom issues

We have a BPT Targha intercom and have had constant issues, the call function from the entry panel doesn’t work for a few flats and seems to be intermittent on others. Ive shorted the micro switch for my flat with no call indication at the entry panel, (no Buzzer sounding) don't know if it sounds in my flat, would it sound at the entry panel? Any ideas of what the issue could be?

Ok ...the panel at the bottom has been fitted upside down which will let water get into the speaker unit ! This has probably blown the speaker and that is why there is no ring tone at the panel , the upper panel with the switches has two common connections on the left hand side ( white with blue ) in connector block , I can’t see one connected to the common rail on the right hand side ? These switches can get a bit hit and miss over the years , your best bet is to have a look on eBay as the multi switch panels are sometimes on eBay ...

Hi, there is a common connection to the right had side, see pic, olive and white,

should there be two?
There is two way speech between some flats, flats, would rule out the speaker unit as faulty?
Could you also help me identify the handset, it looks like a BPT C-200 from research, could I replace with a universal handset, or, what would you recommend?

Are the micro switches available without the plastic ‘button’?

it’s a common rail , it doesn’t matter as long as there is at least one
You could give door entry direct or intercoms r us a ring next week , I would remove the switch and test it with a multimeter
