as long as you posts are no more than a few mm wider than the panel[2 or3mm]
drill a pilot hole in three or 4 places on all four sides[one side will do but more the merrier]
you will have to drill at a slight angle for the drill to clear the pannel
use an extension bar to help the drill to screw the 8by 1.3/4 or 2" screws in
