Breville steam iron

Circuit breaker keeps tripping when iron is switched on. Reset circuit breaker and iron works ok. What could it be and is it fixable. Checked plug and it is ok.

i could make a guess, but you have to tell us what sort of circuit breaker this is. post a pic or tell us all (yes, all) the letters and numbers printed on it.

Once steam irons leak, which is probably your problem, it is not worth the hassle of trying to repair them.
