Down to the pandemic you idiots. Do you two think that’s to do with Brexit? Clutching at straws looking for bad news are we? Sorry to disappoint. Any of you two care to show me where Brexit is mentioned in that article as the reason for staff shortages?

On the basis of what you believe, by default, there should be a staff abundance in Europe now, shouldn't there, what with all that cheap Labour going back to their European **** holes that they couldn’t wait to get away from? How do you explain this then?

Oh, it looks like Brexit has hit the USA too. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/10/the-labor-shortage-isnt-main-streets-biggest-problem.html

Would you put the blame on Brexit for those countries too? Might as well, eh - every little helps.

If what you say is true you idiot (it isn't)

then we could look at economic damage suffered by other European countries experiencing the pandemic (all off them) and see if UK has suffered less, more, or about average.

Can you guess which it is you idiot?

So where does it mention Brexit as the reason for the Labour shortage and why is there a Labour shortage throughout the rest of the world - they had nothing to do with Brexit did they?

EU workers dropped since 2016

EU net migration to UK:
2016 216,000
2019 49,000

thats where all the HGV drivers, fruit pickers, nurses etc show up in the numbers

only one reason: brexit
