Hi just want some advice on the regs for a brick built shed.

Its going to be built out of concrete blocks and have a corrugated roof, with pvc windows, no electric or heating to the shed going to be used for storing tools and a motorbike.

Its going to be aprox 3 metres by 3 metre in size and aprox 2.5 metres high
it will be aprox 6 metres from the house in the rear garden and will be aprox 500mm from the boundary line where there is a fence to next door.

I just want to clarify this will be acceptable and will not need planning permission or building control involved and the neighbours will not be able to complain etc

Provided you do not live in a conservation area, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, your house is listed or you have not had Permitted Development Rights removed etc etc and you keep the height under 2.5m http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/england/public/buildingwork/projects/workcommonoutbuildings/ (It would probably be wise to contact your Planning Authority and just run it by them and they will tell you if there are any reasons why not).
Do you think your neighbours may object to it? Although unlikely, technically if your neighbour objected, the Planners could ask you to prove it is allowed under Permitted Development and could stop you proceeding with the works until you have done so.

Building Regs only required once you go over 30m2 although as it is close to the boundary you need to make sure it is constructed from non flammable materials ie straw! :p
