I had built walls leaving bricks ‘out’ where I wanted brick lights.
I had originally purchased cast aluminium lights … but they corroded badly after only a short time (coastal area)
www.diynot.com
All stainless variants had too much depth … such that I could not accommodate the wiring.
After suggestion here I purchased some nylon’ LED brick lights, and they are shallow and accommodate the wiring easily ….
Figuring out how to fit took some thought as they are a brick size they ‘fall’ into the brick space rather than frame it as aluminium lights.
However by fitting some composite blocks I can fit the lights …… and straight on they view fine. As per pic :

The issue is that viewed from above … there is a gap (equivalent to where the mortar would be ….) the light are brick size not brick + mortar)
I need to fill that gap for aesthetic reasons ….. anybody got a suggestion how ?
As per pic:

The lights are IP65 sealed so does not have to be a watertight ‘infill’
My only thought so far is to use use grey exterior grade Silicone, and simulate a bead of mortar. ,,,,, would need some form of breaker tape or non-stick strip to allow light to be removed should I ever need to.
Unless someone knows of a grey (ish) water resistant foam strip.

Product not performing as required - Bricklights
I bought 12 Brick Lights from TLC IP44 lights (as in first pic) Due to other projects had only fitted 3 ... and while they are dry and serviceable 'inside' the outer grill (only part on show) is VERY badly corroded. I live aprox 1km from the coast, so there is salt air, but I expected much...
