Brick matching

Hi all, not exactly DIY, but my builder had a brick supplier rep visit the house and was recommended this brick match.

Started installing yesterday and it looks... well.... you can see from the pictures.

I assume when the bricks and mortar are fully dry it will look better but I still think it looks like a poor match.

What does everyone think?
