Hi I have just discovered my cement and bricks from conservatory are coming away from my main house - the plaster board inside has cracked - this has happened over a course of many year by the seems as I noticed a tera many years ago inside - can it be normal movement and a case of repointing or subsidence or the foundations ? Thanks for replies in advance

Nothing to worry about.

the conservatory foundations and house foundations will be different and they aren’t joined…..so will move independently of each other.

Consequently there will be movement. in fact furfix wall starters, which are used to join new walls to old are designed to allow some movement.

Conservatories can accommodate more movement than rigid structures like plastered walls.
