British UT2 panel / boiler

Hi, I've recently moved to a new house with a boiler run by a British Gas UT2 panel. The heating comes on ok with the timer setting all the time but if I try another setting such as 'Continuously off' / 'continuously on' or 'Once' then they don't work and I have to leave it on the 'Timer' setting.

Any ideas?

You should change your post title it is very confusing, what you call a "British UT2 Panel" is a British gas UT2" is actually a drayton LP711 timeswitch re-badged as british gas, decent reliable units, I think you are using it wrong or it would not work at all, google ACL Drayton LP711 user instructions and you will be able to download the instruction manual
