Hi
I have moved into a house which has the UT2 programmer, two heatmiser thermostats and an old neo hub (which does not turn on).
I have got a new heatmiser neo hub (2nd generation).
At the moment, I have programmed the UT2 to turn the heating on thrice a day, which it is doing and I can see there is a flame on the neo thermostats at those times.
The UT2 programmer is in the loft, where one has to crawl to get to it, (the boiler and the hot water tank are there), so it would be ideal to have be able to control the heating without having to get on to all fours and crawl to the programmer.
Question is:
1. How do I connect the Neo Hub and where should it be located - up in the loft next to the programmer (though there can only be wifi there, not a wired internet connection). Or can I install in on the ground floor, to the router itself.
2. Once connected, does the programmer then need to be set on "on" position, so the heating is programmed using the neo hub?
A gas engineer suggested getting this https://theunderfloorheatingsite.co...pnLp21wh5UGQ_0BKMEIiYTEIdVesgwGsaApj9EALw_wcB or this https://amzn.eu/d/39jKp6o but I am not clear why I should need anything more than the neo hub, especially since there appears to be an old one in the house.
Thanks in advance!
