Broken garage roof - leaking - cracked

Hi all, please see image below for a problem I have just discovered with garage roof after seeing a puddle of water inside. Really bad rain at the moment so keen to get this solved as quickly as possible (although want a good repair).

Pretty sure it's an asbestos roof - this was raised in Homebuyer's report when buying the house.

Do you guys have any recommendations on the best option for repair?

Really the panel needs replacing but that'll be a pain and you risk damaging other panels, you'll need a perfect match and you have the asbestos issue to deal with. A relatively easy fix that should last a while is a flashband patch. Clean the surface, apply flashband primer, let it dry, stick on the flashband. You can buy a small roll of flashband complete with a little tin of primer from screwfix.

Hi nick, thanks for your message back to me. I thought that may be the case but to be honest I don't think we can afford to do that now, so the patch seems like a good plan and I will head up to Screwfix at the weekend and buy it.

Can I just check, when you say a while, do you mean years?
