Broken Indesit oven - hob fine

Its my first post so ill say hello all !

Last night my oven packed up mid pizza, the indicator light went out and then..Nothing. Ive checked all the obvious things cooker point (light still lit), wiring on the back panel etc but no joy. The hob is wired from the same junction box and works fine so what could the fault be ? just want to get a rough idea so if i do get a someone in i wont be fleeced!

The list of what could be wrong is long and distinguished. Faulty element is a good one, broken/burnt out connection in the oven another. If the hob is working, it's not the supply and the only way to diagnose is to dismantle and investigate.
