Broken uPVc door lock

I pushed the door handle up to lock the door and something broke inside. The handle now spins round freely but will not undo the lock. How do i get the door open to be able to replace the locking fittings.[/b]

If it is not doule looked and it is only held on the latch just get a pint scraper and ping the latch open
