Just curious. i know what these items are. Was to chew fat over what others did while with that corporation.
Lindstrom AT8's were a pair of fine, long-nose pliers, used mostly for terminating in the racks, of exchanges, just prior to soldering. I still have my pair in my workshop.

In the exchange the flags were long nosed pliers with flag like side extension used to tension spring sets on relays type 3000
This relay is well over engineered. Every bit on it could be replaced and adjusted.
Relay could be made slow to operate or release, could be pulsing, spring sets were made to suit every scenario ( make, break, changeover, make before break etc). The contacts were twinned for better switching.
