Bubbles under vinyl wallpaper

I have just decorated my bedroom and put a vinyl patterned wallpaper on the feature wall.

I crosslined the wall with lining paper. bubbles strted to appear, so I pulled it away as I was hanging it to expel any hair prior to smoothing down. As I continued more bubbles appeared in pieces had smoothed out, which I presumed would dissapear in the drying process. Now 2 days later I still have a few bubbles which havent pulled out. Is there a way of smoothing them out??

I dont want to strip and repaper, as the paper was the only rolls they had left and it was quite expensive.
