Buiding piers into exsisting wall

I'm widening my drive and each side is a double skin brick wall only about 4 courses high
I plan to widen each side about 500 mm. How do I build piers into the existing brick wall ?

Wrap the pier around the three sides, and then over.

The pavement side I cant as its a tarmac path

Two sides then. You' may need to widen the foundation.
