Building a dog run outside

I need to build a dog run outside in the back garden, can anyone give me any instructions as I have no materials.

I want to attach it to the shed so the mutt has a shelter. It will basically be a long mesh run with wood top and bottom.

Only tip i can offer is to make sure you bury @ least 8 inches of the mesh all the way round to put a halt to him digging his way out under it.. Obviously depending on the size of the dog you may need to bury it more!
