I am building a timber gararge 4m x 5m

Base is sorted
Timber frame will be C16 kilndried sawn treated 47mm x 100mm
I intend to clad the frame in either ship lap or tongue and groove.
Roof wil be flat but angled.

The question chaps is this.

Have I picked the correct timber for the frame?
Ship lap or tongue and groove?
If tongue and groove, should it be fitted horizontaly or vertical?

And recomendations for roofing?
OSB felted?

hope someone can help me out.

Regards
Jack

I would use shiplap horizontally and maybe think about putting a breathable roofing felt on the studs before fixing the cladding, the roof have you thought about using alloy/metal box profile roofing sheets with or with out insulation and laminated in a mat pvc finish in a variety of colours easy to fit last 50 yrs.
