Building a workshop, roof question.

Hi, im building a 10 x 8 overlap apex workshop, tomorrow I have to finish the roof. the roof is made up of 4 boards then felt on top.

My question is would it be a bad idea to lay some kind of plastic sheet between the roof sheet boards and the felt?

I just thought it may help avoid any leakage into the workshop.

Bit pointless really as you will be nailing through the plastic anyway.

make sure you use heavy duty mineral felt rather than cheap shed felt it will last 3 times longer
