I’m currently building some garden gates, decided to build a motice and tenon frame with three rails 4x2 and angled bracing 6x1.25, then some t&g matchboard panels.

I have it clamped up and glued it all up with PU glue.

Could I rely on the glue solely to hold the m&t joints or would it be advisable to screw through said joints.

It’s a metre wide, so didn’t think doweling it would be needed.

Modern glues are quite good, screws will do little. For the best result you should have pegged or used wedged joints however it's too late for this.
