I've got to build a stud wall 2.55m high. I've used CLS 89 by 38 before which only comes in 2.4m lengths. With the ceiling and floor piece I'm still going to be about 60mm short. I could run two pieces of timber along floor and ceiling instead of 1 to make up this gap, but it seems like a bodge.

What would you guys do?

You would probably want two or even three lengths along the bottom to give a good solid base for the skirting in any case

And some 2.4 CLS is actually 2.44m.

But 3m lengths would be good, as the offcuts can be used for the noggins

Thanks guys - much appreciated. 3m CLS it is then!
