The first thing to think about is access to the equipment for routine meter reading and re-setting trips. Also consider possible up-grades or re-wiring at a later date.
A design that allows the box to be removed completely would be ideal.
And of course when fixing it to the wall be wary of cables buried in the plaster.
I rewired the house with my boss (He's an electrician, I'm his "mate") so I know where the cables are (in conduit in the wall).
Going to fit a maintained emergency luminare in the cupboard for lighting in case of power loss/out of credit/fault on lighting circuit ect.

Board ain't wonky just looks it in the pic, also have replaced missing and poorly fitting blanks with MK Sentry ones as the look and fit better (Crabtree cant even cut them straight)
