Built in Oven

I was looking at the instruction book from our new oven and in the installation section it said the oven could be wired into a socket.

Is this a separate socket ran from the fuseboard or is it part of the existing kitchen circuit. When the guy came to remove the old hob and oven they were wired together.

I am not an electrician and I didn't wire in the new stuff myself. I am just curious nothing better to be doing than reading manuals god I am bored.

Just plug it into a regular socket.

How is the hob going to be powered?
