Please help. I have spent hours online trying to find advice on changing bulbs in the down lights I have in my bathroom and cannot seem to find anyone who has a similar one to myself.

I have moved into a rented property and the landlord doesn't know how to do them either as they were fitted by contractors years ago.

The unit itself comes down a little but is held in by nasty bulldog type clips. The unit is sealed and I cannot get the front facia off to get to the bulb. It has no clips that I can see to release it and it does not twist but twists the whole unit.

I have taken some pictures if they are of use. I would be very grateful for help. I am on my last bulb in the bathroom which has no windows and will soon be total darkness in there.

They are supposed to unscrew, but often seize closed due to the heat.

Not your problem - it's up to the landlord to fix them or have replacements installed.

Just the chrome bit should turn.

You should not have to pull the whole fitting out like that.

Probably came with a tool to unscrew the chrome plate looking at the two indented notches

they look more like lugs than notches to me.

Might be worth trying to grip them (if they are indeed lugs) and twisting that way
