Evening all

Will be moving into our next house in the near future and would appreciate views and suggestions on what would be a decent burglar alarm system to buy / install.

I am a retired electrician so still (hopefully) have enough grey matter floating around to deal with the installation and set up.

There appear to be so many available with varying degrees of detection and protection so all views and suggestions will be much appreciated.

I believe there are some systems available with "fob" activation and deactivation, eliminating what might be a problem for possibly future "wilting memories" where coded keypads are used. What are the views on this type of system please ?

I should add that cost will also need to be a consideration

Like everything it is budget dependant and what you want/like it to do.

You can get panels with apps/ home automation integration etc etc
