I am disappointed. I hoped Burnham would come forward with something people could get behind.

He should look around the world for how other countries do a few things.
#1 we need growth, we need investment
#2 considering our welfare aims, our taxes are lowish.
#3 he should put frigates in the way of migrant boats crossing the channel. Stop them half way and call the French lifeboat services. The crims would go out of business while the French moaned, and we remind them they could have used a Stanley knife on the beach which would have been much safer, and we're paying enough to supply them.
