Burying t/phone cable

Two things. I am in the process of decorating & would like to hide 1. The cable & 2. The bit where it was joined coming into the property.

Can i bury them, if yes best way?

This cable is not used at the moment.

Just thinking ahead if we need this BT line again for broadband which we had B4 Fibrus.

If all your copper, has been replaced with fibre, just cut all the copper out. Copper is never going to be needed again.
