Hi all I hope someone can help as i'm a bit stumped......I have just bought a new cooker (BUSH AE56SW FREESTANDING COOKER).... I have just pulled the old cooker out and disconnected it (which was a gas one) and have just found that the electric connection is a plug socket which runs to another socket which has a red switch on it, then runs to the motherboard..... The problem is that the new cooker doesn't have a plug connected....... It's just a cable with earth live and neutral wires..... My question is can I just wire a plug onto it and away I go or do I need to change the connection point????? Any help would be really useful
Thanks
P.s I have put a few pictures on to try and help.... :)

If the socket is definitely controlled by the cooker switch then

replace the socket with a Cooker Connector Unit.

Yes it is as the old one had clock and ignitor working off it and if switched off then they wouldn't work.... Where can I buy cooker connection unit from????
Thanks for the speedy reply

Thanks
Will it be a simple case of taking off socket. Wiring connection unit on and them away I go???
