Buteline.

I've also had a few leaks from Buteline since we did a massive install. It's strange, because we pressure-tested the system beforehand as per their recommendations and it passed. Nevertheless just a few months later several of their fittings started to weep.

The fittings come with a clamp ring. One part of the ring is clamped to the fitting at the factory and the other part is clamped to the pipe on site.

All of our leaks have come from the factory-clamped side several months after installation. Re-clamping on the factory side appears to have solved the problem. But god knows how long for.

I have a bunch of excess stock which is going in the bin. I'm tempted to file a claim to get some costs back too.

What a shame. I liked the idea of the product but it simply does not work.
