Buying long (3m) copper pipe, any cons?

is there any disadvantage of buying 3m copper pipe over 2m. I noticed it's a lot cheaper in 3m runs

I can't get it home on th ebus, but it's easy enough to take a pipeslice with you and cut it down to a more portable length.

As you say, cut the 3m into 6 and place in a plastic bag. Lot more easy to carry on a bus, I think someone on here does a lot of traveling between jobs using the buses.
