Lots on here about buzzing valves in the airing cupboard and so I know what the problem is. When the heating has been on (and then goes off) the valve continues to buzz until the water calls for heat. Is this dangerous/harmful/likely to get worse or can I ignore it for a while? Are there any solutions that don't involve me flooding the house? I'm happy to have a go but nothing too technical please!

Sounds like a 3 port valve. Replace the synchron motor would be my advice.
