Hi,
14475.jpg
I've replaced a floodlight with a security camera+flood light and so don't need the pir anymore. Wondering how I would bypass the pir as at the moment its being controlled by the pir and the inbuilt bypass doesn't seem to be working. Is there an easy wiring change I could make that permanently bypasses the pir. Really appreciate the help..

Thanks so much for replying. This is just a photo of the pir sensor, which is controlled by a switch inside and triggering a flood light. When I say in built bypass, I mean there ability to switch the pir on and off and then back on and it should disable the pir and put it in manual mode which doesn't work.

Thanks again for replying, just checking is that removing the two wires to join or add a bridging wire between the two points in situ?

If you leave the wires on the PIR it will still be energised. Better to remove the brown & white wires from the PIR terminals and join them together.

Connect together the brown wire in L to the white wire that is in L'

Simples!
If OP simply wishes to provide a permanent feed to the new light, I'd have thought link the brown and black wires together in one of the terminals and to completely isolate thePIR, link the lower brown and white wires in the other terminal to make it all tidy and safe, assuming there's plenty of space in the terminals.
