C4 GRAND piccaso boot lock

hi all i have a c4 grand piccaso and the boot wont close it just keeps open all the time just had to drive home 30 miles with it open any help please appreciated bazz

Work the handle/fab to ensure its not holding the catch in the opening position. Then place a round item like a screwdriver in the lock, to stimulate the door meeting the door catch on the back of the car. It should catch the screwdriver in the lock? But if it allows the screwdriver to come back out the lock it may need replacement, or a bit of WD40.

I would think the lock is goosed, and sometimes the central locking aids and abets this......do make sure that the lock isn't actually in the shut position though, making it bounce off its peg.
