Cable Entry Shed

Quick question which I probably know the answer to to Supply from Garden to shed. Unable to come up through the floor of the shed. I don’t really want to create another joint and add an adaptable box on the exterior.. but also don’t want to just drill a hole and silicone..

But is it best to Just go straight via an adaptable box into the DB and not joint ? It’s not visible as this side of the shed will be up against a fence panel.

I fitted an outside socket and used that as my box to change from SWA to T&E cables.

Terminate the outer sheath using proper SWA glands and take the inner cores through into the DB (ad thus avoid additional joints) - for best practice you'll need to add a CPC from the SWA gland into the DB too
