Cables in cavities

I think they should have other priorities. Once the cables are in and test and there is no problems with damp then why not leave them until they present a problem.

there was a story in Cosmo (think) a few years ago describing how a hamster (I think) was introduced into someone's cavity, but it got lost so one guy flicked a lighter to see better, but the lighter ignited a pocket of gas and the ex-hamster shot out and the other guy went to hospital with severe internal burns.
