Hi all, I have been rewiring an old house and run all the cables from the dist board neatly and branched them off where required, I have drill 25mm holes through joists centrally and the whole job looks rather tidy if I may say so, what I was wondering though was how many cables is it recommended to run through a 25mm hole, I have put 4 through for the 2.5mm ring mains which are a snug fit, is it OK to run cables together of is there a risk of overheating?

Thanks for any help.

Why do people answer questions with questions?? All I asked for was for some advice, had the council been out and inspected I probably would not be asking this.

Thanks.
