cabling from the meter

what sort of cable do you suggest to use to make an connection from the meter to the fusebox if distance is about 12meters long?
 
I always consider SWA to be a little overkill in most situations like this. It has it's place for sure, but many DNO's will allow tails of any lengths, as long as installed to BS7671, so standard tails may be acceptable.

Split Concentric is also another option, via a switch fuse at the origin. 16mm with a 63 or 80amp switch fuse is fine.

These two methods assume the cable wont be buried in the wall, (and so requiring RCD protection). If this was the case, SWA would be the best method.
