If its a new installation I dont think anyone will be up for testing someone elses work.

well its not domestic so you don't have the rules related to self certification.

iirc the EIC has seperate places for the designer installer and tester to sign so someone can do the tests and record them without having to claim it was them who did the whole installation.

I dont know, all I know is I took a call this morning from a lady who wanted her nursery inspected. I myself am not qualified to do so, so was looking to contract the job to someone else.

And yes, I did find a top notch company to carry out the works. A well established company.

had to be buddy, they are very well established.
The only issue being, that they can only offer a basic visit and quotation today, if they cannot carry out the works by the coming weekend, my client will be looking to book elsewhere in which case, I shall call upon you mr comms
