IF you ring the emergency services, you simply tell them where you are.
They can still find you but it is harder, they have to pass you over to colin in technical - he has a souped up PC that can triangulate where you are based on the mobile phone masts.
However colin can only find you to within a 100 mile radius - so maybe it is best to tell them where you are.
