can any one help with scantronic 9448+ style not setting

When I set the alarm you get the normal sound to exit/setting but the sound will not stop so the alarm will not set.

when you move around when trying to set the pir do pick you up so its not the sensors.
the keypad has not faults showing.

Are you leaving by the "exit" door after setting the alarm? Some panels require this zone to be opened/closed before setting IIRC.

If you have a sensor on the final exit door check that the magnet on the door is lining up with the part on the frame.
